Guerrilla Collective Showcase 2023
All the, almost 70, games!
E3 is dead but in its place, a thousand different initiatives have sprung up, many showcases, often redundant, to show us future releases for our beloved video games. The first show of this post-E3 period to air is the Guerrilla Collective showcase. More than THREE hours (3!) of indie games, an avalanche of pixels, music, shooting, jumping, sliding, fighting, kissing, tiles, cards, passion, characters and more pixels.
During the show, I started taking notes with the idea of writing an issue of the newsletter listing all the games shown but as the show went on I had to give in to the hard truth... it is impossible to talk in detail about every game. It is impossible to even give a two-line description of them, I would go well beyond the length allowed for a newsletter. I have therefore decided to list the games by name and link to the Steam page, where present, and devote a little more than a line only to games that, in my opinion, should be kept an eye on.

A Tiny Sticker Tale: A puzzle-platformer game where you play as a sticker. Link
👌Dwarf Delve: This dungeon-crawling game has you playing as a dwarf on a quest to explore and conquer the depths of the earth. You'll encounter various foes, traps, and puzzles as you navigate through the ever-changing environment. With procedurally generated levels, no two playthroughs are the same. Remnant 2 👌Remnant II: Set in a post-apocalyptic world, this RPG has you leading a group of survivors in a struggle for survival against a multitude of threats. You'll need to scavenge for resources, craft weapons and gear, and make tough decisions that will impact the fate of your group. The game features a branching narrative with multiple endings, as well as a robust combat system with a variety of weapons and abilities to choose from. Link
👌Hammerwatch 2: This cooperative dungeon-crawler features retro graphics and gameplay reminiscent of classic games like Gauntlet and Diablo. You'll team up with friends or AI companions to explore procedurally generated levels filled with monsters, traps, and loot. The game features a variety of character classes to choose from, each with its own unique abilities and playstyles. Link

Toxic Crusaders: A side-scrolling beat 'em up game based on the 90s cartoon. Link
👌Leximan: This word puzzle game challenges you to create as many words as possible from a given set of letters. With multiple game modes and difficulty levels, it's a fun and addictive way to test your vocabulary skills. The game also features a dictionary function that allows you to look up definitions of words you've created. Link
